Going away? Your dog can board at our home in Wassenaar: a house with a fully fenced garden and no more than two guest dogs at a time. Our own Labrador, Lucky, lives with us, so your dog needs to get along with another dog. A night costs €35.
Our group walks and daycare are based in Wassenaar. For daycare, pick-up is optional. Pick-up and drop-off: €1.50 per km (distance from our home), minimum €4 per day. All services are on one page: Services.
Where can my dog be off-leash in Benoordenhout and Marlot?
Almost everywhere in The Hague, dogs must be on a leash. Off-leash is only allowed in designated areas. Around Benoordenhout and Marlot these include parts of the Haagse Bos, Park Marlot, the Bosjes van Zaenen and Park Arendsdorp. Picking up after your dog is compulsory everywhere, off-leash areas included.

Haagse Bos. The wood belongs to Staatsbosbeheer. Dogs are welcome on a leash and may run free in the off-leash zones. Staatsbosbeheer does ask that your dog stays in sight, comes back when called and leaves wildlife alone. If your recall isn't reliable yet, keep the leash on.
Meijendel. The Waalsdorp entrance on the Oude Waalsdorperweg is right next to Benoordenhout. In the rest of Meijendel dogs must be on a leash, and a few zones, such as Kijfhoek & Bierlap and the Monkeybos, are closed to dogs. For swimming spots, see Dog parks and swimming spots.

We agree that together at the meet-and-greet. The places above are close to home and suit a dog walk well. The route depends on your dog: a relaxed dog with good recall suits an off-leash zone, a reactive dog is better off on a quiet route on a long line.

How far are you from Benoordenhout and Marlot?
We live in Wassenaar, on the side closest to The Hague. By car it's approximately 5–15 minutes to Benoordenhout or Marlot, depending on traffic and exactly where you live. Marlot is the closest.
