Every dog is treated like our own.

We're Dom and Evika, the two people behind LuckyPaw in Wassenaar.

Our story

We moved to the Netherlands and brought our love for dogs with us.

Today we walk, board and look after dogs in and around Wassenaar. It's not a side job for us. It's what we love doing.

Meet Lucky

Lucky is our working-line Labrador, and our biggest teacher.

Working Labradors are bred to go all day. They need exercise, a job to do, and attention every single day. Otherwise they get bored and frustrated.

Living with Lucky taught us the difference between a dog that's just tired and a dog that's truly happy. We bring that into every walk and every stay.

How we look after your dog

  • Lucky stretched out in a garden chair at home

    Your dog is our dog.

    While your dog is with us, we care for them the way we care for Lucky. No shortcuts.

    Every breed is different.

    A Border Collie needs something different from a French Bulldog. We learn what your dog needs and plan around it.

    One family at a time.

    Boarding happens in our own home, with a fully fenced garden. Never more than two dogs. Your dog gets real attention, not a spot in a kennel.
